Los Angeles Family Dinner

We hope to see all of you at our Los Angeles Family Dinner!

Our in-person, Los Angeles "Family Dinner" is held monthly on the second Saturday of each month from 5-9 pm. To uphold the intention of the circle process, it's important to participate from 6-8pm. 5-6 pm and 8-9 pm are great times to socialize, eat, etc.

Our "Family Dinner" is intended to be a safe space for people who are formerly incarcerated and those who wish to support them. We share food, we check-in, give/receive support, and share with each other to keep our "family" grounded. For anyone who hasn't come before, we as a community foster a space free of judgment with the aim of lifting each other up. This space is intended for both emotional and logistical support, and for celebration of each other. If nothing else, it's a chance to see some old friends and potentially make new ones.

If you know ahead of time that you are in need of support, reach out to Kristy at 323-509-4436 or kdinsmoor@reevolutiongroup.com so we can plan to make sure and get you taken care of. If you don't know ahead but still find yourself in need of support, you can let us know when you arrive or speak up in the circle at any time!

As to making new friends - if you know anyone who is new to the community or whom we may have left off our Evite list, please let us know at info@reevolutiongroup.com or 323-391-8351 and we'll send them an invitation with all the details. If you plan to bring newcomers with you, please orient them with our purpose and group values ahead of time such as not fixing people or giving advice (unless asked for), using "I" statements, non-judgment, building community, showing up for one another, and holding space.

Getting here: Parking is located in the Paramount Plaza  parking structure behind the building with an entrance off Ardmore. The  parking structure is a $5 flat rate on weekends. There is metered  street parking which is 2 hours until 6pm, and free neighborhood parking  a few blocks south. From the parking garage, take the stairs or  elevator to the second floor to access the bridgeway across the alley to  the courtyard, and we're the building on the right. Coming off Wilshire  Blvd, we're the building on the left. When you enter the lobby, use the  elevators on the left side to get you to the 14th floor, exit to your  right, and we're the first door you see.
