About the event
November is time for Friendsgiving! It's a good time to cultivate gratitude and foster community. Hopefully it goes without saying, but hearing it should sound nice anyway: We are grateful to be in community with all of you! We are constantly in awe of your wisdom, humbled by your perseverace, uplifted by your generosity, and inspired to live up to your examples. We invite you to share dinner and give thanks with us on Saturday, November 11th at our monthly LA Family Dinner.
As a special treat, we have 5 "anytime" tickets to the LA Auto Show to give away as prizes. If you're into cars, this is the largest car show in the country. So carve out a day and go feed your inner gear head. (https://laautoshow.com)
Our Los Angeles "Family Dinner" is held monthly on the second Saturday of each month.
To uphold the intention of the circle process, it's important to participate from 6-8 pm. 5-6 pm and 8-9 pm are great times to socialize, eat, etc.
Our "Family Dinner" is intended to be a safe space for people who are formerly incarcerated and those who wish to support them. We eat, we check-in, give/receive support, and share with each other to keep our "family" grounded. For anyone who hasn't come before, we as a community foster a space free of judgment with the aim of lifting each other up. This space is intended for both emotional and logistical support, and for celebration of each other. If nothing else, it's a chance to see some old friends and potentially make new ones. Newcomers are welcome.

We would like to extend an invitation to anyone in our community who would like to facilitate one of these circles. If you are called to practice facilitating or want to share something you've found valuable, we invite you to the table. You will be compensated for your time and we’ll support you if you desire. This is a great opportunity for new and seasoned facilitators alike. If you want to know more, hit us up!
