Our Los Angeles "Family Dinner" is held monthly on the second Saturday of each month.
Our next "Family Dinner" is on September 9th from 5-9 pm. To uphold the intention of the circle process, it's important to participate from 6-8 pm. 5-6 pm and 8-9 pm are great times to socialize, eat, etc.
Our "Family Dinner" is intended to be a safe space for people who are formerly incarcerated and those who wish to support them. We eat, we check-in, give/receive support, and share with each other to keep our "family" grounded. For anyone who hasn't come before, we as a community foster a space free of judgment with the aim of lifting each other up. This space is intended for both emotional and logistical support, and for celebration of each other. If nothing else, it's a chance to see some old friends and potentially make…
