A Walk in the Park
Time & Location
About the Event
Calling all weekend warriors! We know how important community and nature are to people's physical, emotional, and psychological well-being. With that in mind, we're hosting a hike and picnic at Debs Park on Saturday, September 11th. There's ample parking, hiking and picnic areas right from the lot, and it boasts both city views and a lake to feed the turtles.
We'll huddle up at the parking lot at 9 am for a 9:30 am hiking departure. The hike is easy/moderate, lasting about 2 and a half miles. We're planning 2 hours for the hike so people can take it easy, take pictures, and stop to feed the turtles. We'll be back to the parking lot and picnic area by 11:30 am. We'll circle up in the grass just to kick off the group with some warm vibes and then break out the food. We'll be at the picnic area until at least 4 pm.
Get there by navigating to "Debs Park Parking Lot." You turn onto Debs Park Road from Monterey Road and reach a turnaround at the end where you'll see the parking and picnic tables. *Do not go to the Audubon Center!
Feel free to bring your families and please RSVP by Thursday, September 9th!
We look forward to seeing you there!
